We support equity and health systems bottleneck analysis linked to evidence-based planning and budgeting through the development of strategic plans and investment cases to ground national responses in solid evidence. We stay the course to help countries translate strategic plans and investment cases into operational plans and models of health systems, including primary health care and community-based systems. We help establish real-time program monitoring systems to facilitate close progress tracking and timely course correction.
We support the design of public health programs grounded on solid evidence and we undertake ongoing program reviews to ensure they are effectively implemented and on track to achieve the intended results. ICHESS applies the 5E+2S formula (Evidence, Execution, Effectiveness, Efficiency, Equity, Scalability and Sustainability) to facilitate quality programming at all stages, maximize program effectiveness towards UHC and sustain the gains.
We design and implement with validation models of health and community systems adapted to the contexts of low-income countries, taking into consideration the local epidemiology, system design, culture and resources. We leverage the power of technologies to improve systems effectiveness and efficiency. We support the implementation of quality interventions in the provinces with the aim of bringing them to achieve exceptional performance and stand out in national surveys (DHS or MICS), thus serving as learning hubs for an accelerated response to UHC.
We identify potential leaders at all levels (policy, health systems and communities) and prepare them, through training, coaching and mentorship, to become champions of change by making their programs, regions, provinces, districts, institutions and communities shine as centers of high performance and learning hubs for others.
Through research, we develop and test new technologies, adapted to the context of low-income countries, to improve the quality, delivery and monitoring of health services.
We document program and project experiences in strengthening health systems, in particular primary health care and community-based systems; as well as the cost of implementation and the contextual factors to facilitate cost-effectiveness analysis and better understand the determinants of change, in particular who is affected, where and why. We assess the impact through evaluation and research and facilitate the dissemination in peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
Go for it; don’t hesitate to take the next step in your relationship with us. You have our attention; use it to learn more about how we could be able to assist you for improving your health system and making it strong enough to face any health challenges!
