ICHESS is building expert teams for public health evaluation and data analysis assignments. We are looking for individual consultants for the following profiles.

ASSIGNMENT A – Study on the treatment of severe acute malnutrition in children, Northern Nigeria

Deadline: 28 September 2026

• A1. Team Leader: epidemiologist or nutrition specialist, at least 10 years of experience, experience in community-based management of acute malnutrition (CMAM)
• A2. Quantitative Data Analyst: Stata, R or SPSS, analysis of routine programme data
• A3. Qualitative Researcher: interviews, focus group discussions, thematic analysis
• A4. Field Coordinators based in North-East or North-West Nigeria: Hausa desirable, experience with ethical approvals

ASSIGNMENT B – Midline evaluation of an education, nutrition and school feeding programme, Malawi

Deadline: 6 October 2026

• B1. Team Leader: senior evaluator, mixed methods and quasi-experimental approaches
• B2. Education Evaluation Expert: reading assessments (EGRA)
• B3. School Nutrition, Health and Hygiene Expert
• B4. Field Supervisors based in Malawi: Chichewa required

Common requirements

• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Availability between October 2026 and March 2027
