On July 20th, 2020, ICHESS finalized the contract for an institutional corporate agreement with Community Systems Foundation (CSF), a US-based non-profit company specialized in developing information technology applications for development strategies.

Together, ICHESS and CSF will provide technical assistance to the government of Mali’s financial planning to estimate the Cost and Impact of Free Pregnant Women and Under-Five Child Care Initiative. The initiative was recently introduced as part of the ongoing health reforms for Mali’s state. The project is funded by UNICEF Mali and carried out in close collaboration with the World Bank for the Free Primary Health Care (PHC) package.

Through this agreement, ICHESS will develop the capacity of national health experts in health analysis and evidence-based data review. ICHESS will provide an assessment of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the Mali health system.
